Eden Gardens State Park is a 163-acre State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The park is a historical site and has been around since the late 1800s. The venue has a lovely historic mansion whose ground gently slopes towards the water’s edge.

This venue stands out for its beautifully landscaped grounds that display blooming flowers during winter. During the spring and summer, the park is decorated with camellias and azaleas that add color to the landscape.

It is also notable for its evergreen oaks draped in Spanish moss and ornamental gardens, including its heritage rose and butterfly gardens. These gardens are maintained by local Master Gardeners. This unique venue has served as the setting for generations of weddings and hosts over 150 weddings each year.

Getting Married at Eden Gardens State Park

Eden Gardens State Park is available for booking every day of the year apart from certain special event days and holidays. It is primarily an outdoor space with gardens and bay options and has a capacity of up to 200 people. They also host receptions and rehearsal dinners.

Because of their popularity, they begin taking reservations 11 months before your wedding date. Your wedding will be the only wedding scheduled for that day, allowing you to experience a private and exclusive experience with your friends and family at the park. Unlike most Florida state parks, they allow after-hours bookings. After-hours weddings can begin an hour before sunset and go until 10 p.m. Their wedding coordinator is available Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for more information.

Facilities and Capacity

The venue has a 600-year-old evergreen Virginia oak “Wedding Tree” under which couples can exchange their vows. The Wedding Tree provides an enchanting backdrop and is surrounded by an open lawn with plenty of space where your guests can sit and witness you say your “I dos.” They also offer assistance in planning your wedding through their wedding planner and service staff to help run your wedding smoothly on the day.

This venue accommodates garden weddings, park weddings as well as tented weddings. They have a ceremony area, covered outdoor space if it rains, an outdoor event space, and a reception area. Their covered outdoor space is a screened pavilion that shields from the weather and insects; it also has room for up to 100 people to sit and eat. In addition, they have a paver area next to the pavilion that can be used for extra space if it is not big enough to accommodate your guests. It is also only a short distance from the iconic Wedding Tree. They also have Men’s and Women’s restrooms and a large food preparation room that can be used by your caterers.
