It’s an excellent choice if you love fascinating sea creatures and want to create a memorable experience close to nature.
Event Space and Capacity
The Gulfarium has various event spaces that you can choose from based on your preferences and guest list. Their Living Sea Aquarium Room is an indoor event space that can accommodate up to 112 seated guests and is perfect for an elegant banquet. If you’d love to be surrounded by sea creatures, then this is the place for you. It has an eight-foot-high aquarium wall allowing you and your guests to have a full view of the exotic fish swimming around you as you celebrate your big day.
The Seal Harbor Beachfront Area is an outdoor space that can seat 112 guests. If you’ve had your heart set on a beachfront wedding with amazing views then this just might be the perfect spot for your wedding. This event space is set against the beach and has spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and Okaloosa Island fishing pier, which make for amazing backgrounds for some awesome wedding photos. This venue stands out as it lets you have a classic Florida beach wedding without the sand. The space is also handicap accessible.
The Dolphin Oasis will be available in the Spring of 2023. It will be a combination of 3 outdoor event spaces that feature natural beach-themed decor and dolphin views. This space will accommodate 200 guests.
The Gulf Overlook is an outdoor event space suitable for smaller gatherings, it can host up to 20 seated guests and has a rustic ambiance and beach surroundings. It overlooks the Dune Lagoon, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Okaloosa Island fishing pier.
Wedding Packages
The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park offers four event booking options. They host rehearsal dinners, stand-alone ceremonies, stand-alone receptions, and both ceremonies and receptions. All of these packages also include event setup and clean-up.
Rehearsal Dinners
Rehearsal dinner bookings are available throughout the week with the lowest rates available from Monday through Thursday. Rehearsal dinners can be held in either their Dolphin Oasis or Living Sea Aquarium Room venues for a maximum of 3 hours. A rehearsal dinner booking includes tables, white padded chairs, trash service, as well as security, that way, you can ease your mind off some of your rental needs. They are a convenient venue and they also offer any other additional services you might need for your event upon request.
Ceremonies and Receptions
For ceremonies and receptions, they hire their venue out for 4.5 hours. This is probably the coolest package of them all as it offers 30 minutes of private park time for you and your guests to check out the animal habitats, a fun and unique way to spend your wedding day, as well as a great opportunity to bond with your guests and let them mingle with each other while appreciating nature’s gifts. In addition, this package also includes tables in various sizes, padded chairs, trash service, security, and 30 minutes of rehearsal time to get ready for your big day (which is, of course, subject to calendar availability).
Ceremonies Only
If you’re thinking about having your ceremony only at this venue, then they are available for booking Monday through Sunday, and the lowest rates available are on the weekdays. There’s more venue diversity for a ceremony as they offer their Living Sea, Seal Harbor, Dolphin Oasis, and Gulf Overlook for your special day. These venues are available for 1 hour, and booking also includes essential event rentals such as padded chairs, an arch, and a sand ceremony table. Other decor items that you might want for your wedding ceremony are available for rent as well. In addition, they also offer 30-minutes of rehearsal time so that you can have a clearer idea of how your wedding ceremony will pan out. A rehearsal is subject to availability.
Receptions Only
Stand-alone receptions at the Gulfarium can be held on any day of the week and may be held for 4 hours. Receptions can be held in the Living Sea or Dolphin Oasis venues. Reception booking also includes tables that come in a variety of sizes depending on what you would like for your wedding, white padded chairs, trash service, and security. And any other additional services are available upon request.
Services and Amenities
Select rooms come with their own pre-installed audio and visual equipment that you can use for your event entertainment. The Living Sea Aquarium Room has AV equipment and an integrated sound system. Their very helpful and experienced staff can also help you coordinate your wedding and find the vendors you need to service your events, such as caterers and decorators. And they also allow outside bar services. If you really love marine life, then you can also incorporate them into your wedding and arrange for you and your guests to view a dolphin or sea lion show or have mini meet and greets with some of the Park’s smaller animals.
