‘With this ring, I thee wed’ are magical words that one hears at weddings, but few couples personify true love and devotion the way Danielle and Michael do and that is why it was a privilege to cover their wedding as a Florida wedding videographer. Keeping up with the tradition of a classic Florida beachside wedding ceremony, the couple got married on the beach behind the Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa. They got ready on the property surrounded by their parents, closest friends, and loved ones. The bride had a special customized gift for her mom and dad and there were happy tears all around when she hugged them both before the ceremony. The ceremony was simple and beautiful and the family really came together ‘in the presence of these witnesses that love you,’ said the officiant. There was a mini photo shoot at the beach for the couple and their parents and best friends and lots of group photos too.

The bride looked like a princess on her wedding day and she had ‘something blue’, ‘something borrowed’, and ‘something new’ as part of her attire. ‘We know you’d be here if heaven wasn’t so far away’ read the sign at the memorial table at the reception that paid tribute to all the loved ones that had passed away. ‘The first time that I got to hang out with you and Michael, I knew he was the one for you…and here we are today,’ said a bridesmaid in her speech in the wedding films. The reception was ethereal and almost magical underneath the evening sky on the patio terrace from where you could see the ocean for miles. One of the most adorable moments in the Destin Beach wedding video was when the couple smeared cake on each other’s faces while cutting it and that made everyone laugh.
