How Much to Get Married at Disney

Luckily, Disney knows this, and they not only have amazing venues for your dream fairytale wedding but a dedicated team of wedding professionals to help you with all the details of your big day. 

Now living your Disney dream wedding might sound great and all, but you also might be wondering how much it’s going to cost you. Don’t worry; we took some of the strain out of finding out and gathered up a list of options and their associated costs.

The Basics of a Disney Wedding

The great thing about a Disney wedding is that it happens in an all-inclusive wedding venue. This means that you not only get a wedding venue but catering, floral, decor, entertainment, and transportation all in one spot. In addition, they have a team of specialist planners who know all the ins and outs of planning a Disney wedding. Disney Wedding Planners help you sort out the fine details of your wedding, they are known to be very responsive, and because they’re so experienced at what they do, you can be pretty hands-off. Previous Disney brides have said that they were able to focus on more fun things such as their entertainment and menu.

Disney weddings have an event to minimum expenditure. An event minimum is based on your ceremony venue, the day of the week as well as the time of day you have your wedding. Your event minimum is composed of your Venue fees and any other Disney wedding services such as catering, floral, or decor. For example, Separate locations have differences and minimums. The Crescent Cove has an event minimum that ranges from $7,500 to $10,000. However, the Crescent Cove venue fee is $3,500. 

Suppose you’re having a wedding ceremony at the Crescent Cove, and your event minimum is calculated as $8,000 based on the day and The Time you have your wedding. Since the Crescent Cove venue fee is $3,500, that means that you’ll have to spend an additional $4,500 on other Disney wedding services such as catering, floral, or decor to reach the event minimum and have your wedding at Disney. 

The Venue

There are about 47 different venues Disneyworld Florida offers for either a ceremony or reception. Here are some of Disney’s venues listed according to event minimums.

Event Minimum $7,500 – $10,000

The Conch Key Marina is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; it overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon and has a perfect view of Cinderella Castle, providing an unmatched movie magic backdrop. This venue can accommodate up to 4 guests in addition to the couple and has a venue fee of $3,500. It stands out for its beautifully landscaped gardens and towering palm trees, and you can have an intimate wedding ceremony at the water’s edge.

Crescent Cove is a hidden treasure located in Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club resorts; it’s the perfect location for a beach wedding. It has an indoor backup option in case of unpredictable weather. It has a venue fee of $3,500 and can accommodate up to 38 people. If you choose to have your ceremony in the evening, your wedding will have an amazing backdrop of Disney BoardWalk’s Twinkling Lights.

Event Minimum $10,000 – $17,000

Italy Isola

Italy Isola is an Italian-style venue located in EPCOT. It is used for ceremonies and receptions and can accommodate up to 150 people (48 for a ceremony). It features a grand staircase that matches the Venetian-style architecture of the piazza, and it is situated next to the waters of “Venice” where gondolas float, providing a backdrop of enchanted romance. 

Terrace Des Fleur

Terrace Des Fleur is used for receptions, rehearsal dinners, dessert parties, and farewell brunches. It can host up to 100 people and is located in EPCOT. This outdoor location is surrounded by beds of fresh and fragrant flowers, giving an impression of Paris in the spring. It also features a replica Eiffel Tower and a charming Parisian cityscape adding to the space’s classically romantic atmosphere. 

Tamu Tamu

If Lion King was one of your favorites and you’ve always wanted to incorporate a little bit of an African experience into your special day, then you have to have your wedding at Tamu Tamu. Located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this venue’s walls are decorated with inspiring 18th-century Swahili plasterwork and artisan-style arches that are perfect for picture-taking. The space features a canopy of exotic trees, hanging lanterns, and white string lights. It can host up to 80 people and 

Event Minimum $10,000 – $20,000

For a beautiful waterfront wedding ceremony, Disney offers their Oak Manor Lawn which can host up to 150 people. Located in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, this pristine garden features charming walkways and towering oak trees, perfect for an elegant garden wedding. 

Shipwreck Beach

Shipwreck Beach is located at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and is the perfect location for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches. Its beautiful waterfront view and sparkling white sands give off a refined atmosphere perfect for large and casually elegant gatherings. This outdoor venue is surrounded by tall palm trees and offers a view of a sunken pirate ship and a lighthouse at the end of an expansive wooden pier. Shipwreck beach is one of Disney’s largest venues and can host up to 1,000 people; it has a venue fee of $5,000. 

The Wedding Gazebo 

The Wedding Gazebo at Disney’s Yacht Club is used for ceremonies and can host up to 120 guests. The Gazebo is placed in the center of a rose garden on perfectly manicured grounds, perfect for romantic garden weddings. The space is decorated with trimmed hedges and fragrant flowers, giving an atmosphere reminiscent of Martha’s Vineyard. The Gazebo is painted white, and surrounding the garden are whitewashed balconies with red-and-white stopes awnings. The lush green lawn next to the Gazebo outlooks Stormalong Bay and a picturesque lighthouse; this is where your guests will sit; it has the perfect backdrop for some adorable wedding photos.

Event Minimum $12,500 – $35,000

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion is probably one of the most extraordinary wedding venues at Disney – and that is really saying something. This enchanting event space look’s straight out of Cinderella and can accommodate both intimate and larger events. Disney describes this as their premier wedding destination; it has grand ceilings, beautiful gardens, soaring Victorian spires, and a wall of arched windows that give it a storybook palace feel. It has a capacity of 250 people and a venue fee of $6,000.

Event Minimum $15,000 – $25,000 

The Tower of Terror

The Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers a truly unique experience for your wedding ceremony. It hosts up to 100 people, and ceremonies are held one and a half hours after the park closes. The space is inspired by the 1930s, otherwise known as the Golden age of Hollywood, and features a towering hotel and a hanging chandelier that illuminate the courtyard. The space is surrounded by colorful flowers and lush greenery. Its venue fee is $7,500.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is the centerpiece of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and plunges you into an immersive experience in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush greenery and an earthy environment. This outdoor event space is used for wedding ceremonies and features a magnificent tree covered in sculpted details; it can be lit to appear as if the sunset was shining through the tree – a truly stunning backdrop for your wedding. However, you will need to contact a Disney Wedding Planner for more details on the guest count for this space. 

Event Minimum $20,000 – $50,000 

Magic Kingdom Park After Hours

For couples who want an unforgettable wedding experience, then Magic Kingdom Park is the perfect venue for a fairytale Disney wedding. The iconic Cinderella Castle serves as the backdrop for this event space, creating a true Disney-style wedding. You can also ride Cinderella’s Coach down Main Street to your venue, which would make for awesome wedding pictures. Magic Kingdom Park can host up to 300 guests and has a venue fee of $30,000.

Magic Kingdom Train Station

Magic Kingdom Train Station in Magic Kindom Park is another great ceremony venue. However, they only allow ceremonies to be held at 7:30 AM. The Train Station is an elegant Victorian-style station with panoramic views of Town Square and Cinderella Castle, the perfect backdrop for an authentic Disney wedding experience. The Train Station has 4 polished antique steam trains, and booking includes motorized Main Street vehicles to transport your wedding guest. This venue requires you to use Disney’s photography services and has a venue fee of $15,000. It can host up to 48 guests.

The American Adventure Rotunda

The American Adventure Rotunda is the perfect setting for dinner, and an extravagant ball in a grand old mansion fit for fairytale royalty. Located in Disney’s EPCOT theme park, this venue features some of the finest Gregorian architecture in the United States. It has a high domed ceiling lit up like the night sky and towering white columns. It can accommodate 80 to 150 people and is used for receptions and rehearsal dinners. It must be used in conjunction with a 7:30 PM ceremony time.

Nothing says class and creative-like areas. Go under the sea and feel over the moon at the aptly named ‘Ariel’s,’ a themed event space perfect for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches. This venue is located in Disney’s Beach Club Resort, offering a delicate blend of classic fairy tale fantasy and casual elegance; it seats up to 50 people. It is beautifully decorated in soft pastel colors, floating bubbles, and whimsical fish sculptures for a fairytale-like evening. This venue offers a buffet menu with carved meats and savory appetizers. 

The Atlantic

The Atlantic dance hall in Disney’s Boardwalk Inn it’s a multi-level venue with a spacious hardwood dance floor. It is used for receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches and can accommodate up to 150 people. It is open Tuesdays through Saturdays and offers a buffet menu. This venue is perfect for live events and features state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and a stage that’s great for hosting a live band. It features a grand staircase that leads from the Dance Floor to two classy upstairs dining rooms. Each level of the venue has two large Terraces that Overlook Crescent Lakes’ calm waters, allowing your guests to refresh, converse and admire the scenery.

The Attic

One of Disney’s best-kept secrets, the Attic, is a bright, airy beach cottage charmingly decorated in mismatched furniture, country floral prints, whitewashed beams, and potted plants and features an A-frame ceiling. The space’s glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows allow in a generous amount of natural light as well as provide panoramic views of the glittering Crescent Lake. Its comfy sofas and overstuffed armchairs give it a homey feel and are perfect for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches and can accommodate up to 34 guests.

The California Grill

The California Grill in Disney’s contemporary resort can accommodate up to 120 guests and is used for lunch receptions and farewell brunches. If you would prefer to host an evening event in this award-winning restaurant, you can reserve one of their two private rooms for your event. Their world-class chefs are skilled new crafting dishes from around the world, from Mediterranean Asian to Latin. Their delectable cuisine only uses fresh, sustainable ingredients, and they have a seasonal menu to give you a diverse dining experience reflective Of contemporary culinary culture.

Casitas Courtyard

If you like the unique landscapes and architecture of the American Southwest and Mexico, then you might want to have your wedding at the Casitas Courtyard. This charming outdoor event space is located in Disney’s Colorado Springs Resort and is used for receptions, ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches. For your ceremony, you can have the chairs arranged in a traditional row formation, or for an intimate experience, you can have them arranged in a semi-circle. Evening ceremonies will be elegantly lit by twinkling lights, which will add romance to the ambiance. 

Other Disney Wedding Services

In order to meet your event minimum, you would also need to purchase some of these other Disney wedding services. As stated earlier, Disney requires you to use all of their in-house services apart from photography (with the exception of certain venues that require the use of their photography). 

Disney offers in-house catering for your wedding with a variety of buffets, food stations,s or plated dinner options. There is a minimum per-person fee based on the time of your event; brunch costs $140 per person, lunch costs $175 per person, and dinner costs $210 per person. They also create desserts and specialty-themed cakes that can incorporate elements of your favorite character or story. 

We hope this helped you get a better idea of how much it costs to get married at Disney. Although, as stated earlier, these prices could and do vary based on the day of the week and the time of day you wish to have your Disney wedding. You can expect higher venue costs on weekends and holidays.
