The wedding of Lexi and Colby was a family affair like no other. The bride was surrounded by her loving friends as they raised a glass to her impending ‘happily ever after’ while they got her ready at the BnB where they were staying. As is characteristic of weddings in Santa Rosa Beach, flower girls showered everyone with giggles and wildflowers as the wedding videographers hastened to capture a shot. The bride was an absolute vision in her ravishing V-neck and low cut back embroidered wedding dress and her simplistic, wavy long hair that framed her face beautifully. She kept her hairstyle effortless and ethereal and fairy-like for the ceremony, transforming it into a sleek, braided high ponytail for the dancing at the reception which made for a stunning Santa Rosa Beach wedding video.

The Point Washington Reserve where the reception took place had an almost open-air barn feel very much in keeping with the rustic, outdoor vibe that had been brought to life for this wedding which would be a treat for any Florida wedding videographer to capture. The glorious, rustic décor made plenty of use of straw and wood with the beautiful forest in the background which made it ideal for a photoshoot. Not to mention the artsy dried foliage, lots of wildflowers, and ornamental bunny tails really made it look like a forest nymph’s wedding!

The venue itself is a less frequented remote trail so there was a lot of privacy both for the couple’s slow dances and the freestyle dancing that took place later with dazzling disco lighting! Weddings in Santa Rosa Beach like this one have the aura of an otherworldly kind of experience with the natural elements and the sublime beauty of the couple. The groom was surrounded by a whole troop of his groomsmen the entire event ready to support him and join him in his happiness, one of them even dressed up as a bride to prank him! The couple said their goodbyes to their loved ones sitting in the back of a truck in the midst of a display of spectacular sparklers going off into the night.

Hi, we use Dalton Young Wedding Films for our wedding, this past October. And originally, I thought that having a video on our wedding day wasn’t something that was important to me, and the closer we got to the wedding, I just knew it was something that I would want. And we found Dalton and I knew right away that they would do a great job. So we picked them and they were amazing. Their team was so friendly, and helpful, they even got us drinks on our wedding day and offered to get us food. They were outstanding. And then we just got our wedding video back yesterday and we’ve watched it about a thousand times. It’s literally perfect. I couldn’t have thought of anything better. So if you’re looking for a videographer, I would say that they are 25 out of 10, amazing. Thank you.
