WaterColor Inn Wedding | R+S | Florida Wedding Videography

Love is the most gentle force with ironically the most rebellious attitude to realism. Happily, ever after is said to be a fraction of fairy tales, and a perfect day is said only to be wishful thinking. But Rachel and Spencer’s wedding at Watercolor Lakehouse in Santa Rosa exhibited love in all its beauty, one that dared to challenge even reality. The décor was a garden theme, with botanical-inspired details. And the video captured the atmosphere with deliberate, subtle saturation of the milieu, giving the entire atmosphere a mystical feel. The vows and exchange of rings happened on the lawn beside the lake house. The bride was ushered in by a few members of the family, even the dog had his flower around his neck as he was led down the aisle. Then the father of the bride walked his daughter down, with hair of gold and a smile as bright and beautiful as the day, she looked breathtaking in her white minimalist gown. Spencer took a moment to appreciate his other half to be so much love and admiration in his eyes, one that moved him to tears. Then, with conviction and feeling, they exchanged their vows and sealed them with a breathtaking kiss. The reception commenced not long after a session of a photo shoot with friends and family at the lakeside and the lawn. The wooden background gave the garden wedding a rather subtle, rustic feel. The soft lighting created a warm atmosphere as the bridesmaids and groomsmen jubilantly ushered in the newlyweds.

Their first dance was graceful and full of life and color and Rachel concluded with a playful bow, one that somehow still looked graceful. Spencer had another heart-melting moment with his mother on the dance floor and one could not deny the love they shared as the mother leaned her head on her son’s shoulder to communicate her joy through her emotions. Rachel, who seemed to be the fun one had a rather energetic dance with her father, one could tell from her naturalness at how she half hopped and half glided with her father that she was a daddy’s girl and was not shy to show it. The evening was drawn to its climax by a live band entertaining the hall with several electrifying numbers, one that compelled all to dance. Young and old, they all hopped and glided to the rhythm of the music all the while sharing and receiving the love that was clearly in the air. The sight was a dream. Rachel and Spencer made a fairy tale of their own. One to watch as they drove into the night sharing kisses as they go could testify that it looked like a portrait of happily ever after.
